I could totally live with an AF Konica Hexar.. Loaded with Reala that is.. It's got one of the most well-thought out user interfaces imaginable, and that sweet 35/2 just begs to be used with a fine grain colour film like that..
But then again, talking about good user interfaces, I wouldn't feel punished if all I had was a Nikon D40 either..
The Hexar AF is wonderful. I'm slowly switching over to digital, but I think I may hang onto my Hexar even after I have divested of the Leica mount film cameras. I would not describe its UI as well thought out, although I like its quirks. Long story, as you can no doubt appreciate.

My MP-3 kit:
MP-3, Leicavit MP and 50/f1.4 ASPH
As much as I love my other gear, I can't imagine a better camera outfit...

Actually it would have to be the Mamiya 7II + 65mm because I can shoot street with this but also make nice large landscape prints too!
If the RF645 had a 50-55mm lens it would without question be this...

A single lens + body set for years ? A tough decision, but I'd start with lens first:
either 'Cron 50mm (contemporary) or Summilux 50mm ASPH, then bopdy choice comes easier: either black M6/M7/MP 0.85 or M3 (black would be perfect) with perfect mechanics and RF.
Well, in fact I really like the look of my 35mm 'Cron ASPH on my M6, however have yet mastered that FL...

If I were forced to use only one camera and one lens for the rest of my life, it would be one of the following (in no particular order):
35mm rangefinder: Leica MP with 35mm f/1.4 lens
35mm SLR: Nikon F2 titanium with motor drive and 35mm f/1.4 lens
Medium format film: Mamiya C220 with 80mm f/2.8 normal lens
Digital: Hasselblad H2 with 80mm f/2.8 normal lens
Of the four, the Nikon and the Mamiya are ones I have actually used.
The Leica and the Hasselblad are ones I would like to own but could never justify the expense.

The best combo for me is the Hasselblad 500 C/M with an 80mm Planar. The M6TTL with a 50mm Summilux ASPH is a close second.

The Hasselblad / Planar for the highest quality of the photo and the Leica / 50mm Summilux ASPH for the best low-light performance, I guess ?
