As I had threatened on page 3, last night I ordered the 28mm Nikon ...like you, the rebate pushed me over the edge.

Glad I didn't buy a refurbished one for, as it turns out, only $100.00 less...I had been leaning that direction. 5 year warranty rather than 90 days alone is darn near worth that.

Here's to many wonderful future images for us both.

Yeah, the $100 instant rebate is sweet, especially for such a well-reviewed lens. The extra $120 from the Adorama rewards program made this purchase a no-brainer.

Definitely post some of images from that puppy and I'll do the same.

The Canon 7 is giant for being an LTM body. M2 opens up a lot more lens options... Tons of quality LTM glass out there, but now that Voigtlander seems to have stopped producing new RF lenses in anything other than M mount, you're losing out on some really awesome M-mount-only glass, whereas LTM lenses with an adapter work juuuuuuust fine.
