What is your one favorite camera as of right now?

Divided, not sure. the M3 with the summitar, because it has a snake leather skin, or the M2, because I can use it with the 28mm.

While I'm using my M3 more (for convenience), I think this IIIa is a long-standing favourite...

The Oly EM-5 has not seen ANY action since I bought the Nikon Df back in July. Continuing to snap up non-AI Nikkor glass and having it converted to AI by John White.

My favorite was the OM1 I bought in 1978 or 1979 at Kaufman Camera in the Bay Area. It was stolen in 1987. A nephew gave me an OM1 about ten years ago and that rekindled the Olympus relationship. I bought a couple of OM2n's recently and have fallen in love again.

(I cleaned up the OM1 and gave it back to him since it had belonged to his grandfather--they had mistakenly thought it broken, but the lens had frozen up and the camera was fine. Just needed some foam and TLC.)

My favorite camera is my Arca Swiss Field Camera with the 210 Apo-Sironar S.

My most used camera is my Kodak Medalist II.

Om4-Ti but as with any camera of mine at the moment is has to be with a 40 mm lens, in this case Zuiko 40/2.

I was torn between this and the Pentax ME Super with the Pentax 40/2.8 but the Olympus wins the day because of its averaging spot meter. It means that because of the greater accuracy and precision of exposure that the the OM4-Ti system gives, the B&W negatives are so much easier for the processing lab to print without any messing about (especially the accuracy of skin tones). In turn, this means that I can therefore use so-called proof prints as final high quality prints, which is quicker and cheaper than selecting a few negatives for re-printing as final prints, and it also allows me to get superb quality prints for every shot on a roll.

Actually, the metering apart, I prefer the ME Super for size, weight, softer edges to the physical contours of the body, the noticeably increased magnification of the viewfinder, and the sound and feel of the shutter when it fires. Even so, the OM4-Ti is only slightly less favoured on these other preferences. They're both great cameras.

Imagequalitywise and for handling reasons my Fuji X-T1.
Although I like the looks of my X-E2 and my Leica M8 better.

With film it differs. Sometimes this one, sometimes that one. At the moment I am really into the Fuji ST701.

I also like the interface and usability of my Nikon D7000 a lot, and believe it or not, the colours of my old Pentax K100D.

How are you liking it?

As you know, people either hate the Df or love it... I love it. For me and the way I use the Df with older manual focus Nikon glass (AI'd), it is just like being back to using my Nikon F, only exposing on a sensor instead of film. I did buy the Df kit with the AF 50/1.8G, but I have never used it and really should sell it. I could not be happier.

Thanks David. I'm still intrigued by it... it's the only DSLR that I consider at times.

Right now I´m in love with the Sony RX 100 in toy camera mode and ratio 1:1, the look produced is unique....

AS for the original question I'm in a difficult moment, photographically speaking and I do not have a favorite camera among my ones in this moment!

XPan for its versatility, but I'm on vacation and I have 10 cameras and a bunch of lenses with me, so it's a forced choice of one only.

Fuji X E2 with 35mm f1.4 Fuji lens.
To me, the perfect balance of small size, speed of use and quality results.
I use at large apertures, rarely smaller than f4, often wide open. This helps keep the shutter speed high and the ISO low, just the way I like 'em.

right now,
slr -> F3-P with 28/2 zeiss distagon
rf -> Voigtlander W667
phone -> pure view 808 (<- jaw dropper)
