At the moment, my favorite is my "new" 1948 Leica III-c Black-Dial / Self-Timer ( upgraded from II-c) with lovely 1946 Summitar, obtained while on holiday in Denmark.
Shot seven rolls of 36 exp Portra 160 with it while abroad...

My favourite camera is the Contax II, pictured with bulk loader to feed it and a print made from it.

Great B&W picture, Mcfingon, as well as a superb juxtaposition. Brilliant!

I always feel special when I'm on my m3+50 cron. Great result, superb handling.
+1.
As this was too short to post I'll add that the M240 is catching up!

I have to say my favorite would be my Mamiya 645 with a 70mm lens as I just love medium format, but i I were to get emotional and went back to 35mm it would be my OM-10

Hi,
My favorite camera continues to be my Leica M2; it's familiar and reliable. a black Nikon FM rates honorable mention, though.

A lot has changed since this was first posted. For me, my favorite camera is now the Fuji XPro2. Why? Because I enjoy using it. Also the Fuji lenses are outstanding and the Raw files are excellent. But, since all cameras made today are capable of excellent imaging, it's mainly because I enjoy using it.

Also for me, this changes from time to time. Currently it's a pretty unlikely one (at least for me): Ricoh GRIII
What a wonderful camera this is. I have it since the first day it was available here in Germany and haven't since one single day without that camera. I even currently trying to sell my M10, because since I have the Ricoh, it sits unused in my glass cabinet.
The Ricoh is just too much fun with impressively good image quality, handling is just perfect for me. I really love it.

My favorite camera is the one I am using. I promised myself to have only one camera loaded with film. The loaded camera is my favorite.

Good approach! I often reproach myself I have too many cameras loaded, so lately I also try one film one camera way.

I see that almost five years ago I selected a camera and lens combo but gave an incomplete answer.
The Nikon D800E, often on a tripod, is my choice when seeking the highest quality and/or anticipating large prints (15x20 or larger)
For me, the D800E takes on the role that used to be filled by my Mamiya 7II
For everything else, it's the Fuji X Pro2, most often with the 35mm 1.4 although I have four other excellent lenses for it.
Greatly enjoy using both these cameras in their appropriate applications.
