Try a manual focus 57 like Konica 57f1.4..since u were thinking about buying an adapter. U can pre focus and when someone comes into zone take the picture.
Btw as i think about it...what about trying mf mode on the 60 and hitting ael/afl button approach? Otherwise pre focus w/ the 60 should also work. But the 60 is the slowest lens in the bunch.
The 55 setting on the zoom is much faster btw.

W/o stabilization... I would not go past a 135 though. I like the 90 elmarit and 105 nikor micro. 200 and greater w/o IS.. I tend to like heavier cameras.. To help dampen during shutter release like Nikon f4..

Sorry. Sloppy fingers. ;-)
...the 56 1.4 (or 1.2) however it ends up. I have the 35 and kit zoom. The pancake is appealing but slower than I'd prefer, and the 23 1.4 would be, but for it's size. I know with either of those two, I'd still reach for the 35 1.4 first. I'm kind of interested in the tele zoom, but I think it's slower than I would want, I've always used f4.0's in roughly the 70-210 range in the past. And, I don't see me wanting to use the X Pro for what I used the tele zooms in the past.
So, long story, short, I just want a fast portrait lens immediately, if not sooner!
Looks like I'll be waiting until the new year, now... :-/

This one is easy: 23/1.4 ... I'm seriously struggling with the 35/1.4, regardless of it being a magnificent piece of glass, I'm just not a 50 (35mm equivalent) kind of a guy..
