An adapter to use M mount lenses on the new micro 4/3 cameras.

A 90/2.8 as good as the 75/2.8. The current offering is just too slow.
And keep making LTM mounts on the lenses.
A good Multifinder like the Tewe out 200mm so it can be used on the M8.

Maybe an R 3A with a longer based rangefinder and 0,75 magnification.

A couple of suggestions -
A metal threaded battery compartment for R2A etc
45mm f/2.8 Tessar M with single coated option
50mm f/1.4 M
Redesign the rewind knob
Overall I love the fit and finish of the new M lenses. Best quality/price ratio anywhere in photography IMO.

Most of the above ideas are variations of what already exists, such as a faster lens, a digital body, a focal length between x and y... but I would love to see something that no one else makes for any RF camera: a dedicated soft-focus portrait lens. Say a 60 or 75 mm lens with intentional abberations to give a pictorial effect, not unlike a Thambar (although I think 90mm is a bit tough to use in RF).
Mostly one needs to shoot LF to get to have fun with such lenses. I blew $1,500 on my 9" Pinkham and Smith and consider it a steal as the effect is unbelievably beautiful. It's only a meniscus-type lens, so how much could it cost to produce? Cooke re-introduced an SF lens (also 9") a few years ago based on an old P&S lens, so why not make such a beast for RF photogs?
One of my main reasons for shooting LTM is to use the funkly old Leica glass. I love what Mr. K has done and I have a few of his products, but why not introduce a new lens which would give a seriously "olde" time look to our images? In other words, instead of competeing with Leica or Zeiss for the sharpest, fastest, widest (whatever) lens, why not bring back a really old design for a completely different look?

I'd like to see an R body with M bayonet mount, and it would come with an LTM adapter for use with thread mount lenses if desired. Frame lines would be for 35, 50, and 90mm lenses. It would have zero electronics, no meter, no battery, no nothing electrical.
I'd also like to see a copy of the Weston Master V meter complete with the Invercone for about fifty bucks.

...There's a million fifty millimeters out there and half of you ask for yet another one???
Whats needed is a fast wide.
Yes. Yet another good one, faster than Planar 50/2, cheaper than Sonnar 50/1.5, asph, in M mount, smaller in size than the current Nokton 50/1.5. Alternatively, remove the size requirement if they can make an f1.2.

Actually - Nothing in M mount only - LTM please. Thanks.

88mm f1.8 with a selectable soft focus like the Tamron SP 75-150 that has 3 soft focus options plus none at all when set to "0".
Why 88mm? It's half way between 85 & 90 & none of them are exactly what they are listed at anyway.

Just slowly increase the quality, use more brass, more aperture blades, better finishes.
They should always have a modern multi-coated LTM 50mm for those of us who shoot old LTMs and want a modern MC lens as an option.
A really nice, direct-reading (f-stops and speeds, no intermediate numbers) improvement of the Pentax one-degree digital spot meter would find a lot of buyers in the large format community. Make it more compact and put a Zone system grey scale chart on it.
I think the fast 50mm Nokton needs a better body and I would buy one.

I like the spot meter idea. I'd buy one.

I'm on for a fast 50, similar to the current 35 and Nokton's but in 50

Yes.
Why would anyone want an 'M' mount lens? A screw mount is much more flexible. The only 'problem' would be the (small) cost of an adapter. Mount it and use it as an M lens if you must.
Do the people who ask for lens X in M mount actually know that you can use any LTM/screw mount lens on M mount cameras WITH perfect RF coupling?
It's nice and convenient to be able to use my CV's in screw mount on my M2 and on my FED5.

I didn't read the whole thread, but i would like to throw in my wishlist:
- Minolta CLE like body, analog AND digital (would buy both ;-) )
- R5 in "old Bessa R2 style" (since R2A Bessa or nothing but ugly ...) with longer RF base
- faster telephoto lenses

A compact 35mm RF (AE option) camera with a fixed 35mm f/2 or faster lens. Very high quality like the Hexar RF.

I like nico's idea. I really want an Xpan but the prices on them are simply absurd!
