Lenses (all M-mount):
18/4
25/2.8
50/2
90/2.5
Camera:
Increse the base length of all RFs
Remove 50mm framelines from the R4 series, leaving only the 25mm lines to themselves
Add 28mm framelines to the R2 series, pairing them with the 75mm lines, also remove the 90mm lines, leaving the 50mm and 35mm lines to themselves
Make the flash hotshoe flush with the body
Make the fonts (the non-logo fonts) better, and engrave them OR just have the Voigtländer logo engraved where the R2/3/4 markings are
Some people have talked about a metal body; aren't they already all-metal?
And the more out-there ideas:
Obviously, a FF rangefinder
All-mechanical 6x7 MF RF, with 50/4, 75/2.8, 100/2 lenses, a modern (but mechanical) version of the Mamiya systems

name under my name
1. the obvious: a quality FF dRF for $2-3k!
2. some dual-length M mount lenses: eg, one lens with two focal lengths such as a 35mm/50mm, a 50/75 combo, or even a 28/42 or 28/50.

I find it sad that the 50mm finder is no longer available.
I would welcome a reissue much.
At best a combined finder with 50mm and 40mm frame lines (because the plastic 40mm viewfinder is so ugly ...).
Alternatively, a new 40mm metal viewfinder would also be appreciated.

I still want an R camera set up for longer focal lengths; 50, 75, 90, and 135 frame lines and appropriate VF magnification to suit.

All of the suggestions are great, but the fact of the matter is that the one product that most everyone would love to see is the one that they seemingly don't want to hear about...Digital Bessa!

I don't know if anyone said this already since I didn't read through the whole thread, but I would love a chrome R2/3/4 to come out. As much as I like how my chrome Leica lenses look on black bodys, they would look a little better on chrome ones.
And the last thing I would like to see is a digital Bessa, even a full frame one.

Small, light prime lenses to cover APSc-sized sensors, especially at the wide end: a 10mm and a 14mm; a 24mm F2 would be great. Perhaps a 60mm F1.4 lens for portraits and a 60mm F3.5 for macros. Mounts: Nikon F, Canon EOS, Pentax, NEX, etc.

Shooter of Film...
I didn't read all the posts so I don't know if this has been said already...
Recently, I discovered that Cosina made the Bessaflex TM (M42 body)...they made it for just a few years then stopped...I would love to find one...from what I've read it has a real bright viewfinder and that's what I'm looking for so I can use the Taks I've been buying lately...
My first camera was a M42 35mm Vivitar body made by Cosina and comparing it to the Pentax Spotmatic the Vivitar viewfinder is so much brighter...
So, my vote is for the Bessaflex TM...either they can start making them again or find me one that's sitting in their warehouse...please...

Truth is beauty
I want a more expensive Bessa with clean 28 and 50 framelines only, and with a much bigger patch & very high magnification for easy close focus with a fast 50.
I'm no expert but I guess it wouldn't be possible inside the current line bodies... I guess the VF/RF would be bigger and more expensive, but it would sell! Maybe it could be done for a $1500 - $2000 price... It would be like a new M2+M3 with a few advantages...
Thanks!
Cheers,
Juan

Thought of something a little less ambitious - how about a new metal 40mm B/L finder? Or simply add 40mm lines to the 35! Love the C/V metal finders. Black and silver, please. Love shooting the 40/1.4 on my Bessa T... but the black plastic finder looks goofy.
Thanks for reading.

Sony E-mount (NEX series) 27/2 (40mm or perfect normal size) for direct e-mount and crop-sensor coverage. Form factor similar to the 35/2.5 Color Skopar, as an alternative to the waaaay-tooo-biiiig Zeiss 24/2 for E-mount.

Oh - I thought of something else to go with the new metal 40mm finder - a small 40/2 Nokton in LTM... it would be unique, no?
