After lots of looking and reading I have lens lust for the new 28 2.8 Elmarit-M, but luckily they are hard to find. ;-)
So my next lens purchase will very likely be the 35 1.2 Nokton modded for the M8 from Our Friendly Bartender.

I updated my response from last year, but besides the new 25MM coupled lens, a 15MM and I would like to not feel like I am coming off a 3 day bender [and I don't drink :bang: ]

Here's a tip. Get contact sheets done of your negs (if you don't already have these). Then pick only the very best to scan. Be a ruthless editor at this stage. Otherwise, the enormity of the task will overwhelm you. If this sounds obvious, it apparently isn't the norm among analogue photographers like us. It seems so many scanner users scan everything! Yikes, what a collosal waste of time.
Have fun with the scanner.

Oh, and what do I want right now?... For someone to buy my 25/2.8 Zeiss Biogon ZM so that I can buy a 28/2.8 Leica Elmarit-M (version IV or V) [or a trade in that general direction]. Then I'll have a perfect two lens kit - 50mm and 28mm. I've decided the Zeiss is an awesome lens with a slightly too-wide-for-me field of view.

Joe,
It just feels a bit wierd peering around to the far edges of the finder trying to visualize the FOV. Maybe it's just practice. Then again, it's all I can to to focus, set aperture and shutter speed, let alone compose outside my comfort zone. I am a bit dumb, after all.
