Whats up with black tape & M6 cameras?

there's pettiness on both sides, so ha!

as for the owners of zeiss ikons and hexar rfs, i recommend covering up that flashy lettering. you'll lose shots if you don't, and we want to do everything we can for our photography now, don't we? i mean, it's bad enough as it is. no need to make it any worse!

Actually, I paid little mind to the matter until this thread got kicked off, and I thought I'd have a little fun here (hopefullly not at anyone's expense). People who tape over their cameras' insignia aren't strange; those who don't aren't the photographic equivalent of the "loud pipes save lives" club. We work in a way that works for each of us, although, being human, we sometimes can't help looking to the side and wondering why the heck did he do that? when, in fact, It's All Okay.

Thanks Barrett, that was my point. Live and let live, it's all good. Let photography unite us rather than divide us if we have different preferences.

All black is always a winner. Looks great.

Only as long as the lighting is good, the fabric is not artificial and an IR blockout filter is used :)

resistance is futile...;)

I like Raid's signature line (at least, it was for a while): silver chrome is classic and black is professional. Not true, but nice sounding.

Speaking of which, like joe and his bi-color ZIs, I have Leicas of both kinds. just to appeace the fashion gods. :)

I heard that HCB wore the Leica on his wrist with a strap. Is this more covert than wearing it around your neck? I'd think so, but just askin'.
