The only thing "wrong" with the GS series Yashicas (and some other early ones) is that they don't have multicoated lenses. This means less contrast and a higher chance of getting flare.
Looking at the purple tint of the Canon GIII lens, it seems to be multicoated, though it may just be mono-coated. I don't know.
Can anyone confirm which, if any, of these 70s RFs have multicoated lenses?
