What's your favorite Fixed-Lens RF?

Yeah, a GSN. Then shoot the crap out of it, and don't worry about the others. (That said, there are worse guilty pleasures/vices than playing around with old cameras : )

The only thing "wrong" with the GS series Yashicas (and some other early ones) is that they don't have multicoated lenses. This means less contrast and a higher chance of getting flare.

Looking at the purple tint of the Canon GIII lens, it seems to be multicoated, though it may just be mono-coated. I don't know.

Can anyone confirm which, if any, of these 70s RFs have multicoated lenses?

The Konica III M has a very sharp lens [50mm/2.0] and has a 100% viewfinder. It has all manual exposure control and is built extermely well to last. It has a rangefinder. The Konica Hexar AF is not a RF camera. I have the Hexar AF.

Zeiss Super Ikonta B/MX coated Tessar. Unlike the nice little Olympus XA above my Ikonta can actually take bad photos, but thats my fault.

Obviously there are a lot of good fixed lens RFs out there. My first was an Olympus but after more than 30 years, I don't recall which. I now have the 35 SP. I also have a Petri Computer 35 (surprising no one has mentioned Petri), and three Canonets. I have the 19 and two 17 IIIs. The 17s are my favorite:

Small
Good optics
Manual when wanted.

What's not to like?
