Where and how do you store your cameras?

My namesake's hardwood bookcase--about 65"x40"x12" with 2 glass doors and 8-10 adjustable shelves. No lenses in cases! Leather lens cases are stored in a different chest. But like Tom, the cameras I'm using are sitting out on a sideboard, or in a Domke, ready to go.

Wow, you're a creative lot. Thank you for sharing your storage solutions.

I've got the Leica M3 with Summicron 50mm d/r in a Billingham L2 bag along with a Contax G1 with 50mm lens. The Rollei lives in it's ever ready case inside a squarish camera bag (forgotten the make) with plenty of room for the filter case & hood. The big Pentax 6x7 lives in a lowepro backpack with a 75mm and 135mm lens and hoods. Other cameras, mostly digital, live in other bags and all live in a cupboard under the stairs. It would be nice to have them in a glass cupboard with doors 'cause I love looking at my camera bodies.
Very relieved to read that fungus shouldn't be a problem here in uk. Thanks again everyone.

I don't store them, I use them. So you can say I store it my bag, sholder, drawer, car ...
If I don't use it for an extended period of time I usually sell it...

As simple as that!

I use 'em too, but usually only one at a time therefore need somewhere to store them until I use them. I never sell anything, always regret it later :bang:
