After looking at the Xpan gallery I conclude that there are only 9 Xpan users in the world !!!

I just got back from Oaxaca Mexico where the Xpan saved my life. Tripods were not allowed at the ruins so my 503cw sat in the bag while the xpan got a major work-out.
Pictures to come soon.

Where'd my Bessa go?
Wish there'll be a digital xpan coming along. I'd definitely be putting more of my pano shots up if that were true.

Unfortunately, it seems that the sensor manufacturers have a hard enough time making FF sensors. I doubt that we will see a panoramic sensor for a long time. Difficult to make, and a small market.
But we can dream!!!!

You can stick 3 FF 24x36 sensors together, there's your pano sensor

Sound like a good idea except if you calculate the cost of three Canon 1Ds Mk II's minus the three cameras, but include the electronics, and a single body - you would have a VERY pricey body.
