No cigarettes for me either! Going on three months now. Man, I still dream about them, though.

More money for film.

Bill, I have a friend who quite smoking 20 years ago and still says she has dreams about them, and has nothing but really fond thoughts about smoking. She is really happy she doesn't smoke though, this spring, at age 50, she ran her third marathon in the past 24 months. You will do pleanty of things in the time to come that will be better than those cigarettes you crave.
 
Gee, Joe, now I wish I hadn't said all those good things about the camera. Makes the wait worse but it's worth waiting for.

And no smoking. I gave it up 12 years ago and today if I smell a newly lit cigarette I want one. I carry my wallet in my shirt pocket for that reassuring weight that I got used to over many years of smoking. Now my Dr. insists that I lose the 35 pounds I gained after I stopped.

I quit smoking about about 15 years ago... and became allergic to the stuff! :) Hence, I don't dream about them. In fact, I'm way too sensitive to the smell and if I talk to somebody who had a smoke right before, the smell can make me gag.

Weird, considering that I loved Pall Malls and Camels, and by the time I quit (cold turkey), I was close to three packs a day.

What's worse, though, smoking or photographing? ;)

yes, it just showed about 30 minutes ago!!

it's beautiful, even with the 2 tiny dents on her top. (i saw them in the original pics the seller sent)
i put the 50 on and focus just snaps into place.

i was also lucky enough to get a hood/series 6 filter holder from our local lens hood aficianado (sp?) and it too arrived with the camera. synchronistic...

the seller included a domke gripper strap, already put it on, now just some film and i'm ready to rock & roll.

maybe i'll try out rob's hand meter too.
