Mental Experimental.
I'm around, but my time is soon going to become even more spare. I'm learning how to drive in earnest now and as soon as I get my license I have to go on what I'm calling The Great Job Hunt. Then I'll most likely spirit myself away to Minnesota for a time to work in the restaurant of a CIA grad, then actually head to CIA. At the moment my scanner is gone (I haven't gotten a new one yet) and I have five rolls from the Nikon SLR to develop. I'm also needing a battery for my Canonet and I still haven't put batteries in the nice Minolta P&S I picked up on Ebay for $5. It's 2 AM and I have Thanksgiving dinner to cook tomorrow (I'm doing the BIRD, for the love of God), but I can't sleep so I'm drinking Coke and planning to just be up for 30 or so hours. Done it before...will do it again. It's why I think I can make it in the restaurant business. I made cranberry-orange sauce today as well as a nice amount of homemade stock for the stuffing tomorrow.

I'm counting down the months until I get my new (to me) camera. My Nikon is getting a workout in the mean time. You guys will see some Thanksgiving photos next.

That will just make it so much more satisfying when you are there. And don't be surprised if some day you sit down, trying to think of what is next, and realize that in fact you have already arrived.

ot: when I was about 6, my family and I went to a Carl's Jr. in Hollywood. We sat down and my cousin couldn't stop laughing. I turned around and I didn't see what was so funny. My mom (later) said that the man on the table behind me was Milton Berle. Back then, of course, I had no clue. (He stopped making faces when I turned around, it turns out)
He was one of the funniest men I've seen on the silver or TV screen.
