hello - I am considering getting a new Billingham bag and their website is rather useless, particularly in terms of capacity.

can anybody recommend a Billingham bag that will best fit:
2 x Canon 5D
1 x Canon 24-70/2.8
1 x Canon 35/1.4
1 x Canon 28/1.8
1 x Canon 50/1.2

and if possible a 13" Macbook Air.

I would consider option without space for Macbook Air too.

Thanks for any advice!

Adam

Well, a 445 would probably swallow all that (and may I suggest a CushCase for the macbook?) - bodies and lenses in the main compartment, macbook in the front, and you'd still have four dump pockets (two internal, two external) and a rear zip pocket for your odds and ends*. A 555 definitely would.

*(I have an old 445. The latest model may offer more internal pockets.)

packington maybe , I have a 550 and can get 1dx x2, 16-55, 70-200, 24, 50 1.2, 135, my leica with a few lenses and a couple of flashes. But I would never carry it anywhere. I think if you are carrying a laptop better to get a thinktank shapeshifter. The shapeshifter which I use for work can carry easily my two 1dx either 16-35 and 70-200 or 24 and 135, 50 leica with lens and 15inch macbook pro.

I have Hadley pros and the larger bags. The larger bags are exclusively for weekend breaks. In my opinion they are just too large to be comfortable when filled with gear. I bought them after I bought the Hadley but immediately realised I could never be comfortable utilising the full capacity. Of course, I could be a baby!

Thanks for answers and just to clarify, this would just be a bag for carrying gear on flights etc to and from assignments, not for working with. I (almost) never carry a bag when shooting, just use a pouch or two and TT Shapeshifter in cases where I have to shoot and file on the go.
