Which Contax RF lens is the best?

I looking for a arrange of contax RF old lens, Can you guys list me some choice, Thanks

Carl Zeiss Jena 5cm 1,5 Sonnar or a Zeiss Opton 5cm 1,5 would be excellent lensesfor the Contax. If you prefer a vintage look with low contrast, look for a Zeiss Tessar 5cm 2,8 or a [sharper] 3,5.

There is not a huge selection, but the Zeiss-Opton 35/2.8 Biogon and 50/1.5 Sonnar would be my first two choices.

There is the possibility to buy modern lenses for the Contax made by CV.I always felt that the old Contx RF cameras were made for the 5cm Sonnar.

You didn't specifically request Zeiss lenses, so I'd suggest one of two Nikkor lenses in Contax mount: (1st choice) 10.5cm f/2.5 or (a close 2nd) the 8.5cm f2.0. Both are great lenses. If you go this route, be sure it has a 'C' on the lens barrel down near the mount end of the lens (not on the front of the lens, which means that it's "coated"). The Nikkor lenses without the 'C' are for Nikon RFs and won't focus properly on the Contaxes.
