Well I picked up a Bessa-L and plan on using it with my 28 Ultron & CV 28 Brightline but want to get a nice Luigi case like is coming with my new M6. Does anyone know which case fits right? I looked for one one the leicatime website but couldnt find one that specifically said Bessa-L, only R2/3/4 etc.

Thanks if anyone can help. It looks like the $80 Basic line would fit but dont want to pay for something that isnt right.

Cheers😀

Why would having a nice case on a camera I intend to use have anything to do with the cost of the camera?
I dont see a case as only protection, it is also for the grip and the Luigi case looks nice. Anyway there was a black bessa case for $15 shipped in the classifieds this morning, If I wanted one of those thin, pleather cases I would have gone for that one.
I have had several and while they do a great job of protecting the camera I would rather have real leather with a built in grip. I guess I will email luigi.

[Cranky bit chopped out]

I imagine that a Luigi case for the Bessa L would fit the other Bessa models as well, so if/when you buy another Bessa you could probably keep the case. Luigi would be able to confirm that.

I already had the 28 Ultron, and a 28 Brightline, I will use them on my M6 but it is a .85 VF so I wanted another body to use the 28 on for grab shots. I dont know why anyone would ever shoot a camera like the Bessa-L wide open...dosen't make any sense. I also planned to get a 15 Heliar so the Bessa-L was the perfect cheap option for a backup camera. I have never thought of any of the Bessa's I have owned as "cheap plastic cameras" anyway.

I asked a simple question and most of the responses were "why" when all I wanted was a simple answer. Luigi is in the process of answering my question.

Thanks tripod & thardy.
