Which Magnum Photographers use mostly digital cameras

Right. The question should be who still shoots film primarily. That's a much smaller number.

I think Mary Ellen Mark still shoots B&W film primarily.

I think you will find that many will shoot exclusively Digitally, some will shoot some Digital and some film, other's exclusively film. For example Stuart Franklin will use different cameras for different projects, whether it's Large format or DSLR. I know this from my time working at Robert White as he was a regular customer.
Bruce Gilden also shoots a large percentage of work on film still, maybe all of it.
There are other, older members that shoot just film. One guy who's name doesn't spring to mind but I saw on a video recently shoots Leica film M also. I'll try and research and add his name to my post later on.

How sad it is to observe that those who made Leica what it was have switched to other brands.

Professionals have obligations to fulfill, targets to realize. What they are supposed to deliver can only be accomplished with cameras offering up-to-date technologies; not unlike what surgeons, dentists or engineers need to perform their professions. They too have figured out since long that Leica is "hopeless" in this regard.

(They do not have the luxury of sticking to brands or recording media like most of us enjoy; as their profession dictate to face far more demanding situations then what we think they do.)

Leica are working in partnership with Magnum now so I'm sure many are using Leica's in some part now.

Does it matter?

You could apply that to many of the threads here if that's your inclination. In the grand scheme of things most things "don't really matter" that are discussed on the internet but they still are! Better not to say anything if you can't say anything positive is how I try to apply myself to internet discussion.

Better take it rather as "commercials"... I wonder how many of them would have afford to pay for a Leica from his/her own pocket. BTW, they have to stick to their "original" choice of cameras besides using promotional Leicas in order to perform their profession.

Yes, sure it's a commercial partnership. They are both commercial businesses. It's the same in any industry. Use leading figures to promote your product.

They don't have to "stick" to any camera unless they are sponsored by a particular brand of camera and have a contract signed to use that brand exclusively.

Those color M9 shots by Bruce Gilden are pretty ugly. I don't think he would keep the M9 if it wasn't given to him for free.

How many working professionals can afford a new Leica system anyway?
