I would like to speak with Robert Capa but not expecially about photography. Only problem is that based on his reputation he would probably ask me for a loan to gamble on a horse, drink all my liquor and then hit on my wife. 😀 Before charming me and doing it all again the next day.
I like Capa's persona in some ways. A bit of a rascal. In fact he reminds me of my dad, likewise a bit of a rascal. He was a bit younger than Capa being only about 16 at the end of WW 2 but both were Budapest boys who proved the old adage that a Hungarian is the only person who can walk into a revolving door behind you and come out in front. HCB was always a bit caustic about Capa, claiming that when with Magnum, he and the other photographers earned all the money and Capa spent it all. I get the impression that if Capa ever won a lottery he would spend 75% of the winnings on wine, women and song. The rest he would waste. He was that sort of guy.
