Paul, I'm not sure how these objects are affixed. It's not my house This a former country mansion (circa the 1920's), the grounds of which have been subdivided to make room for several McMansions. I have concerns that this house will be knocked down, but hopefully I'm wrong about that. I guess the former owner, supposedly quite a drinker, left these mementos behind. I think the frilly thing is a hat, not gloves. I try to avoid trespassing and therefore limit myself to looking, but not touching at sites like these.
