Who do you all use for E6 processing these days. I have used Philadelphia Photographics in the past but they are getting way expensive.

I know about Dwayn's but is there anyone else?

Thanks!!

Walmart.... about $8 roll

Walmart.... about $8 roll

I use the Fuji "send out only" envelopes in the Fuji Kiosk at Walmart. I use process and sleeve only. I do know Fuji sends E6 out, and I also know from talking to Fuji directly (Walmart employees know nothing of what I am posting here.... JUST DON'T ASK THEM), Fuji in many cases where logistics permit uses Duanes.

Turnaround is ten days. It was last month and it was 5 years ago, when I started.

Walmart employees Do NOT touch or open your film envelopes. They see that it gets from the Fuji kiosk/drop box onto the trucks, and they sort it/call you, when it comes back. Your film is only out of the envelope at Fuji... never in the Walmart store.

I could care less about your politics and attitude toward Walmart. This has been an infallible process for me on every roll submitted. Processing is good, time line is consistent. No shipping either way because it's all on Walmart shipping. C41 processing/sleeving only on C41 is less than $1.00, (only negs if you choose so)

I apologize to those who think I persist too much on this, but unless you move next to a processor, and your processor does enough business to bring prices down, and you don't let your politics be your decision on this, then I can't help you.

You asked.

PS, I just moved to a new location and the new Walmart there has the Fuji Kiosk also.
PPS, I can't tell you how many Walmart employees over the years have told me they don't do this processing. Only a very few of them have known what I mean. I just wander around untill I find the Fuji Kiosk, fill out the envelope, drop it in the slot, go home and wait for the call ten days. The Walmart employees just get big eyes when I go in and pay my 84 cents (C41) or $8 (E6) and pull those big hoinking images out in front of them. Reality is the best teacher.
PPPS, If you simply have to talk to someone, call the Fuji Toll Free number in big type on every envelope.

Praus Productions here in Rochester, NY does all of my film; E6, C41, and even B&W when I'm short on time. Edgar is great and as I understand many people ship to him internationally since he is one of the few privately owned labs that people feel they can really trust with their films still.

Here in Germany, fortunately film is still going strong enough, and the two big labs (that cooperate with most drugstore chains) are doing a good job for little money. You can get a roll of slide film developed for 3 €. Simply drop it at your nearest drugstore, and you'll have it back in less than a week (most of the time at least.)

Does the Walmart Fuji Kiosk accept 120 (E6 or C-41)? If so, I better look for this kiosk in my local walmart :D

Yes. Try a Google search in RFF (the forum's own search is useless) and you'll find several threads, almost always with kuzano saying much the same as above--it really works. Don't ask the staff, trust the kiosk.

Yes.

Yes... I have only done 120/220 in the Fuji Kiosk (it will be in whatever area they deem to call a "photo department"... where they sell dig cams, photo accessories. Some Walmarts are still processing 35mm one hour, but if I were doing 35mm, I'd probably still use the Fuji "send out only:". That's what it's referred to as.... "Send Out Only" which you emblazon on the envelope.

If you do that search in these posts, I have actually included photos of how I fill out the envelopes for both C41 and E6.

I'm curious about your experience with Samys. Was it both the developing and scanning you weren't happy with or just one of them?

I mostly use Precision Camera and Video. $11.99 for development and great scans. North Coast Photo does a great job, but costs more if you want scans, less if you only want processing. I live a block from Samys and have never been happy with their work.

Ive had excellent mail order results from North Coast Photo in San Diego, as well as from Precision Camera and Video in Austin. Turn around time is about a week. I usually send my B & W to NCPS since they do all this in- house. I called and they use F-76+ developer for all their B&W processing. PCV outsources their B&W processing to a local excellent lab, but it costs a little more. I usually send my C-41 and E-6 to PCV since RFF members get special free processing with your scan order. Both have excellent quality high resolution scans.
