Who has bought an M from KEH?

I bought a BGN chrome M6 classic from KEH a couple months back. No complaints here. Seems to work just fine and the only thing "wrong" with it was there were a couple of rub marks on the top plate, which is just fine with me. I had first dibs at a brand, spanking new chrome M6TTL and Titanium M6TTL and sold them so I wouldn't have to carry the burden of marring up such flawless beauties 🙂

Purchase from them quite allot really. Only one time had an issue with an M3, the viewfinder was dim. I called to tell them I did not liked it, they took it back and sent me a better one.

I purchased a BGN M4 at a really good price. It came with bright marks and a nice dent on it but it was smooth and functioned well. I got it for a good price so I went ahead and sent it to Youxin for a CLA (and a swap to M3 style levers) just for good measure, even though I could have used it as it was.

I have bought many Leica bodies and lenses from KEH in BGN condition over the last 10+ years. Only once did I send back a lens. Their ratings are very conservative, and you can return any item if not satisfied.

Well, I shot a roll with the M2 today, and souped it, and when I took it out of the tank realized I hadn't pushed the reel all the way down the spindle, and so only half of each frame was developed. AARRRGH! They all looked good though, no capping, shutter lag, pinholes, etc. I'll try again later this week. A shame to botch my first Leica roll ever.

Congrats on your M2! I bought a BGN grade early button-rewind M2 from KEH in August and have been completely satisfied. The camera body has some minimal cosmetic flaws but looks to have been well cared for and arrived in excellent working order. I've been one of the satisfied KEH customers (this is the second camera body I've purchased from them).
