Who's this and what's he shooting?

Robert, great story, how much of it is true i wonder??

That could be Ansel Adams indeed, or Anthony Hopkins.
It could also be any experienced large format photographer since somehow, as i noticed, all large format photographers start to look like AA after some years of large format photographing.

Not all art can be printed and framed.
There is the art of cooking, the art of writing, the art of conversation, the art of... anything done well.

Ok now: this is art.

Can I print and frame this post?

Thank you, Ned. Yes!

Perhaps use a small slug of lead with reversed/raised 12 point type, affixed to to a nice maple handle, so it can be easily roller-inked for stamp-printing the foreheads of noisy Zone Zombies at gallery openings.

Not quite the Kafka-device of "In the Penal Colony," but overdue all the same.

I suppose a rubber-stamp version would be less antisocial. Especially if you put on a clown mask just before the forehead-stamping routine. 😉

Found this picture with an online request for a photography assignment and I've got a hunch who this is, but not what he's shooting so I'm posting it here since the knowledgable folks at RFF can no doubt shed some light on this!?

Any clues on what tripod that is, btw? Anybody that can instantly name it? 🙄
