i think it was orwell who said that combining silly threads converts them to important threads! so my money is on the thread that wonders if digital b&w is so counter culture as to make it mainstream among the color film revolutionary set.

I'm half tempted to open a thread about why we have a thread discussing the validity of a thread that focuses on why there is a thread about digital BW...

I believe, the digital B&W shooters need to get this warm and fuzzy feeling, that they are accepted among the traditional B&W film shooting RF community.
I think, that everybody should do what they want, but equally, that nobody should pretend that a chicken is an eagle.
