TY beyond--don't feel bad, I have many out of focus. One method I sometimes use: put it in 7 FPS, start a bit far, and twist a bit on the focus as you fire them off. One should be good!

I took your advice and found a 21 skopar for 250usd today. Everyone seems to rave about it, and I want it for outdoors anyway, so f4 should be fine.
I was also very naughty and treated myself to the famous Canon rangefinder 50mm f/1.4 which can also use the L/M39 short adapter.
I think I'm pretty close to complete in my super light compact prime "RF" set. Once I get them all I'll do a thread: nex-5 and the backcountry primes. 🙂

uhoh7, cool, I think you'll like the lens, nice size, low distortion, good all purpose lens, great for spacious landscapes.
I've often wondered why no vendors have put in focus bracketing yet, or have they?
I have a Hexanon pancake 40 and adapter coming, then I'm done.
I looked at the Pen 38/1.8 and 40/1.4, but they've skyrocketed out of reach, so those will have to wait.
I haven't really found anything that either the 16 kit, and/or a 50 didn't really cover without stepping around a bit, though the cv 21 might be my single lens if I had to pick a prime, but in my smallest bag, both the kit 16 and a 50 m mount fit.
