The perpetual new guy.
A hypothetical question at this point, since we haven't had much user feedback regarding the X-E1, but assuming it's simply an X-Pro1 minus the hybrid viewfinder but otherwise with minor "improvements" throughout ie. the EVF, weight, price, is anyone thinking of trading their X-Pro1 in for one?
Or to put it another way, does anyone find themselves not using the OVF part of their hybrid viewfinder as much as they expected they would, and as a result find themselves wishing they had a better EVF?
As for me, I thought the hybrid viewfinder idea was brilliant at the time, but recently I've come to realise that in use the lack of any kind of focus confirmation has made me favour the EVF 90% of the time.
I imagined when I bought the camera that I would just switch between the two on the fly, but this has not been the case because I've rarely felt the need to go from an EVF to the OVF except in low light. Anyone else?
I know there are many die hard OVF fans out there, but I'm curious if there's anyone else on this side of the fence.
