If anyone wants to swap or loan gear, that option and the risks are up to them.
Unfortunately it would be too easy for someone with sticking fingers to take advantage of the loans. It would be just as unfortunate to have loaned gear stolen or damaged through events like fire or automobile accidents.
For these reasons there will be no RFF threads about loaning gear because I don't want to be dealing with the downside of what might happen.
If you want gear, my advice is to get it the old fashioned way -- buy it.
