I would like to start putting my rangefinders on a tripod and I would also like to get a cable release.

Anybody have any recommendations on cable releases? I see some new ones available at B&H, like this one here

There seem to be cloth covered ones, vinyl covered and metal covered. Some have locks and some don't.

I want to spend less than $10.

If anybody has an extra one they would like to sell please let me know. If it is used I don't care what kind it is as long is it will work in my Canonet and Yashica GS.

Can't you just go onto eBay and pick one up cheap?
I don't have one, personally, but I don't think it would be to hard to find a cheap used one...

No real tips on what to get, though cheaper cloth-sleeved ones tend to wear really quickly on either end.

I'm having a hard time figuring out what will work and what won't on Ebay and the prices seem to quickly get to the same price at B&H.

At least from another RFF member I know I would get something that works and from a trusted source.

I will probably just get one from B&H the next time I need to order more film or something.
