X-Pro in the X System

The X-T1 is needed in the lineup. Together with the Pro, weather sealed lenses that are about to come out, it's the only way they're going to ever earn a decent size of market share.

I'm sure they haven't forgotten about uses like you who appreciate the OVF. I'm waiting for the X-Pro2 myself.

Exactly, the X100/s & X-Pro1 are the 2 unique cameras in their range with both having dual function viewfinders.

I'm sure that both lines will always have prime position in the Fuji lineup.

I use the XP1 like I used my Contax G2

I use the XP1 like I used my Contax G2

With the arrival of the 56 mm, the Fuji prime lens line-up is very similar as the G2 setup I used to have; from the spectacular 21mm Biogon to the 90mm.
Since I don't have the 56 yet, I use the 60mm, but that requires the use of the "less than perfect" EVF (which I dislike).

I can see myself with a dual camera setup; the XP1, like noimmunity for the wides to normal lenses - 14, 18, 23 and 35mm, complemented by the XT1 for the 56/60 and the 18/135 zoom for travel and hiking.
Imagine an in-house available light setup with the XP1-23mm and the XT1-56mm combo?

I could use such a setup for years to come and, if/when an XP2 ends up with a similar or better EVF than the XT1 I could combine this again in one camera.
but, in the meantime life is good!:)
