X-Pro1 shutter noise

Hi all,
I'm wondering how loud the shutter is on the X-Pro 1. Let's say compared to a Leica III or M.
I have a X100, love it. I understand the shutter on the X-Pro1 can't be as silent compared to the X100.
Comparisons anyone?

I'd say the sound level is about the same as an M, about the same 'loudness'. But the XPro1's shutter sound lasts a millisecond-ish longer... almost like two 'clicks' right next to each other.

I'd say it's a touch less than an M. It sounds some what "slower" shutter speed than you would expect.

It is too bad it can't be truly silent like the x100 but it is a different type of shutter altogether.

Keep the x100 in your pocket so you can take the stealth shot with it 🙂 !!!

A bit quieter than my M6 or CLE.

One of the most pleasing shutter sounds out there. A friend of mine was shocked at how soft it was... it's very dampened. Makes the M8 (V1) sound loud!

Yeah, it's a great shutter sound. Very pleasing.

It's not any louder than my M9's shutter sound. Just a different sound - sharper rather than the kerdunk that the M9 does.
