my chinese copy adapter and hood have arrived...the hood on the adapter was a bit too loose for my liking so i add a touch of glue to each tab...stuck on good now!!

I just got my too expensive official Fuji hood and adapter today. it fits tight, looks good, just one thing I didn't think of, it prevents use of lens cap. oh well - it does look cool and that's the whole point, right ?

i still have the official one on order...not sure which one i'll keep.
i never use a lens cap, much prefer the hood/filter combination...

good that it looks cool but i like it for the flare control and physical protection as well.

I have the 'clone' and a less drastic fix is to gently squeeze the slits on the hood and this tightens up the fit such that you can still remove it.
