You knew it had to be done. 😉

I've seen a ton of great suggestions in the forums on improving what we know about the upcoming camera. Everyone is going to have their own opinions on what changes they'd like to see in future editions of the X100. Like all good cameras, there will be future editions.

At first I thought I wanted f/1.4 and IS. After thinking about it, I no longer think it needs IS.

The poor thing's not even released yet and we're already telling Fuji how to improve it! 😱

You guys are tough. 😛

😀

I have to admit the proliferation of X100 threads was really pi$$ing me off at one stage ... but for some weird reason I quite enjoy them now! They say it does take a while to adjust to a disability!

And I have little intention of buying one new! 😛

I miss distance markers and a DOF scale on the lens! Right now it seems that you have to use the finder to focus manually. Or should I really use auto-focus? 😱

X100 is a major improvement in terms of photographic functionality compared to anything out there in its class, so as long as it operates smoothly and its fast in its basic photo taking operation, it will be sold out for at least first six months of its release.

Dedicated ISO dial. Doubled up on top of shutter dial would work with me. But, I don't want to lose the Fn+dial option for non-ISO functions. So, a dedicated ISO button somewhere near shutter release is my ideal.

With film we use one ISO and stick with it, and when loading a new film it takes a while, so while I do like a separate ISO button, its not really a big deal especially when almost every digital camera has a auto ISO function.

They just need to make the +/- button more solid so it won't easily get moved by hand, its placed in an awkward position as the Norwegian guy mentioned.
