It's definitely feels bigger in the hand partly due to the fact the it is a tad bigger. It certainly is like a smaller X100 though and very solidly made.
The first two shots above were shot in colour and the schoolboy one was shot in B&W with yellow filter.

fuji continue to bring out some very interesting cameras, l am sort of biased as l grew up and cut my teeth on velvia and currently own a few fuji

It may well have been. I'd been shooting in Film Simulation Bracketing mode at the time and Velvia was one of the settings.

No free cash to make a purchase at this point. The thing that keeps me coming back to the X70 besides the size, quality and large family of other cameras is the fact that the lens does not extend way out the way most cameras of this type do.
