Yashica 124G: How to open lens?

Hi,

I bought a YashicaMat 124G with some fungus in the internal element really cheap. I wanted to clean it, but I was wondering whether I could open it myself... but I've found it impossible to remove the rear elements so far.

I've seen some tutorials on the 124, but I was wondering if they work for the G.

What tool (model of lens spanning wrench?) do you recommend me to use? I've seen some on the Bay, but they are expensive... Does it turn anticlockwise?

Good point. Mark Hama would overhaul it, and probably has replacement lenses if the present ones are etched by fungus. This would leave you with a camera in excellent shape all around. Write him for a quote and lens possibility?

@DanDaniel The post is about Yashica 124 (not G) and they don't confirm if the lens unscrew counterclockwise or not...

I live in the UK, so sending it to Mark Hama will be too much. If I know how to remove the lens myself, I can try to clean it, and failing that I can get a replacement.
