Hey guys just bought my first rangefinder and instantly open the top cover to get the view finder cleaned because it was a little foggy. The viewfinder came out perfect and the first roll of film got me my first flickr explore and I was very excited about it! I'm definitely going to keep this camera for the rest of my life.

The thing is that a part was left over and I don't know where it felt off. I'm pretty sure it was from the left side of the camera but I'm not 100% sure. Does anyone know where should I put it?

It belongs inside the PC (flash) socket on the right hand side, to trip a switch that changes the camera to flash operation (fixed no-AE speed) when a flash is plugged in. Leave it out - most people do so when they overhaul the camera for use, to change the camera operation to fill flash. It is a nicer low light camera with that pin removed than with it in place.

Many thanks! I'll leave it out then. I hate flash.
