Yashica GT #2 Repairs

Tired of GT#1 so started GT#2 repairs. Badly corroded battery spring, in fact the wire soldered to the end of the spring inside the top was separated under the insulation (probably why it was terminated) 🙂.

Replaced the corroded wire and put in a new battery. Amazing........... it works...

Now I have a working sample to compare with GT#1......... after I try some film in GT#2.

Thanks everyone for your help. When I get some pics I'll post to show what these old beaters will do.
