Your Best/Favourite Photo of 2011

Hi all. So... What's your best or favourite photo that you've taken in 2011, and why?

Here is my favourite.

Taken a few days after Christmas 2011. Two brothers were building a sand castle after sunset on a lonely beach in south Western Australia, not a hundred meters from my home. This is where my brother and I would build sand castles when we were this age. The memory is something I cherish dearly.

Not necessarily the same thing. The other thread is devoted to your most memorable picture of the year, not necessarily the best picture of the year. In my case they are not one and the same.

Oh, oops! Sorry. I tried a search and couldn't find any results, so I assumed it was fine.

I'll keep this here for the moment because of the slight difference in question, but if mods want to delete the thread that's fine by me (and if there aren't many uploads I'll probably delete it anyway).

Assuming that my most-viewed of 2011 would also by my best... 🙄 A faceless streetgirl in Siem Reap would be my top picture of the year then.
