You really think those Photography masters wouldn't choose an image of their little Kid or Grand Kid as a personal favorite, if they had to choose?
No, I don't think they would.
But I must ask: Do you really compare yourself to HCB or Martin Parr?
Where did that come from?

Tough choice. This could be my favorite of the year.

Nice work! Whereabouts? Somewhere in the Sahel I imagine. Mali perhaps? And where in Antwerp are you based? Lived there for 11 years before moving to Hainault.

Took this early in the year and it's still my fave (Bessa T + Canon 35mm f1.8):

Thanks! It's from Congo DRC, so not really a desert environment. This is taken in a very small village where I spent a few weeks, about 250 km NE of Kinshasa. The landscape consists of a mixture of savanna, tree savanna, and forest vegetation. (If you care to see some more, I have already posted a few pictures in this thread: http://rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61862)
I live in the city of Antwerp, drop me a PM if you are in the neighbourhood and want to link up.

destroyed by random light leak, but I like how all the people you can see are looking towards the right. I don't even know what they were looking at...
2008 marked a low point in my photography. 2009 looks to be much more promising.
