I was using a Mamiya C330 TLR with the standard 80mm blue dot lens for that shot.
This is another shot from that same night that came out rather well: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mapper-montag/3134601404/

Burlap Jacket, I really like the second one, makes me doubt using b/w only.
Lawrence, yours of the lady in the tunnel is amazing, too. Probably my favorite.

these are my best of the year, or amongst them. from the 10 or so rolls I shot- the Kodachrome is still in Kansas or where ever, the B&W is in the freezer waiting to be developed/ruined.
I'd like some criticism- I need it to improve. but the colours are the fault of my scanner.
I used a Canon FTb or F-1, using Loblaws film and processing. not the best, but hey, it's cheap.
my bro with a Black-capped Chickadee.
SHROOMS!
cheers!

Nice stuff Rover. Here is a second 'best of 2008', in the non-safari category. Shot with a Canon 450D 24-105L.

My favorite of 2008:
The girlfriend making face. One of the most important things I love about her.
This shot was taken with the Ricoh GRD2, while we went all the way to Hong Kong but found the agnes b resturant closed....
Sometimes I forgot that taking photos is to keep those precious trivial moments in life.
