Post your best shot - one you took that you like the best of all your work for its composition, subject, colors, lighting, whatever.

I really don't have a "best shot", I have some I like in the gallery.

Other wise: it was 200 yards, open iron sights with a Remington single shot .22 long rifle. The holes that whistle pig had dug in the north field had caused broken legs to
two of our heifers that summer. Caught him right between the eyes.

BTW: nice shot, are you still using the Clayton F76 developer?

I've only been shooting for thirty years. I still think my "best shot" is ahead of me!

This is a good thread, I looked and cannot find my best shot, it must still be in my camera 🙂

That picture is wonderful, the high-key lighting outside of the arch makes for some great contrast.
I do like the guy in the lower right, his (her?) silhouette adds a feeling of layering, and depth for sure.

i'm hoping my best is yet to come...

well, yeah. We all hope that. But. . .you get the point. Best of what you have.

I like how we have 90% sarcastic posts and 1 actual reply here.

I think my favorite image is probably one of the ones that was in the RFF book. It is of the subway station in Sapporo. I just like the way the light is coming through, and the lines seem nice. The oncoming train and the two people seem to add to it. Anyway, it is probably my favorite image at the moment.

I have several thousand photos in my data base - my best shot changes every time I look at some of them!

As to first shots - hard to remember which one it was after thrity years - but this is an early one....

Oh, and it's not sarcasm - it is incredulity that you could actually ask such a declaratory question from photographers who are still breathing! 😛

So, are you saying that you wouldn't look at your collection of pics and pick out a favorite simply for fear that such an action would be akin to calling your best days done?

Your best so far is nothing compared with what is to come!

Certainly haven't shot my best but there are a couple i am happy with
but HOW do i post an image from my gallery into a thread reply?
