Your Best Shot

Does it have to be shot with a rangefinder? My rangefinder isn't in yet. I should be here in the next few days.

I have two that I really enjoy. (Gonna be in my art show on August 5th!)

well, yeah. We all hope that. But. . .you get the point. Best of what you have.

I like how we have 90% sarcastic posts and 1 actual reply here.

sorry, didn't mean to diss your thread.

i doubt that i could pick my best shot. the ones i like the most never get any comments in the gallery and the ones i wonder about usually do.

but i'll look and see if a favourite pops up...

yeah. . . i figure hte same thing about my own work. I guess, it should have been "Post your favorite shot, who cares about being popular"

I like this one been back many times and never seen the place empty like this moment.

Nice thread 🙂 My favourite, at the moment at least, is the "Schafberg". (Also found in my gallery, where it looks better with a grey background)

I like that one Niko
reminds me of a place in Le Marche, Italy.

Yeah folks, let's post that one picture you've always loved!

Here, this is my favorite.
Untitled-1.jpg

I took this before I got into photography. That also explains why it was all blurry and why I couldn't set the date right - it should be 2003 not 1994. (And no this picture didn't get me into photography 😛)

I see many shots that could have entered the contest but weren't! Why is that?!

I for one would have entered but i thought a print was required and as my prints are back in the UK and i'm in Thailand it seemed not viable.

This exercise is more difficult than what I thought... Anyway, I picked one I like.

My Best Shot

My Best Shot

Took me two years too get the perfect print, wasn't till Agfa came out with their Brovira in contrast 6 till i got an image i liked. When finally got a good print i sent it to Camera 35 magazine and they published it. Later that year it went into their Anual.

Okay, this one isn't with a rangefinder. Well, it sort of is; I took it with my trusty crown graphic, but I focussed it on the ground glass.

I hesitate to use the term "best work" but I've managed to sell this one, repeatedly, and I'm proud for having done so. It's not often that people want prints of my self-expression. 🙂

Here's mine (for the moment anyway)

I still have to scan in all the film taken to date with my Bessa - this was shot about four years ago on my trusty GT...

John and Conor -- I like those very much!

RML -- Mine was taken with a 35mm lens, otherwise I might have entered the contest. But frankly, I am not much for contests....

Attached is a recent favourite, from the RFF meet in Antwerp this past Feb. It's not great, but it is one of the better shots I've taken in a while.

(Sorry for the shoddy digital post-processing.)
