Another Day in Paradise
I don't see anyone really caring frankly. I had a young guy ask me recently why my camera was making so much noise when it was rewinding film. I told him it was a film camera and he just walked away. Yout's!
I never recieve any attention from anyone because I am holding a camera. Occasionally with a 4x5 someone will ask. When I was younger women would sometimes use it as a conversation starter, but I am not young and good looking anymore. Life goes on, forwards and downwards. Lol.
I have also seen how certain outlets value only digital images unless the images are old and taken by a famoso. Kind of sad....

I think this is all foolishness spawned by camera makers and the web space they support. It's money driven, simple as that.
If you look at the gallery/auction world, where photographs are sold for big money, they don't care. Gursky , maybe the biggest earner, works in both film and digital media. All is digital before printing, often on (digital - conversion) silver papers.
So, most of the web photo world is out of touch with the real (art) photo world.. I think.
I see this stuff on "digital photo" sites and look at the lemmings who don't read outside their world, or never visit a serious photo gallery.
