Your classic Leica shoulder bag, strap and case

Yan,

do you actually put your Leica in this pouch/bag? If so, could we please have an example of how it looks?

Full set was looking like this:

All items sharply packs into the pouch and two small leather cases (on the photo). Very compact and light. This complete set has gone two monthes ago for 5k dollars in private collection. It is rare IIIC with ball-bearings made for US Signal Corps. All items were painted with very interesting manner - matte black with light shark pimples. I have left one matte black clip-on red filter like new condition for memory.

The "snake" chains look really cool, but I find they kind of "bite" into the neck, with their narrow diameter.

I would check ANY vintage chain / strap frequently... I had a "good-looking" Leica strap fail on me, sending one of my black III's to the earth. :(

Honestly I use it only for exposition - same reason: it can easily cut head off (both on the floor)...

I agree the Snake strap does pull on the neck hair and I purchased 2 before I tried them. Well they are setting in a drawer now. What a mistake now but I thought they looked cool. Maybe in a photo they look cool. But in Hot Texas the neck is somewhat exposed I wasted money on them.
