I love nature... I admire it... And meditate on it... A sunset, a new day, the sea, the moon, clouds, grass, flowers, everything in nature is a miracle to me: a photograph of nature is pale in comparison... With photographs including human feelings it's different to me, to my heart and my mind: they're interesting, moving, and offer me the possibility of dreaming while I'm awake... I find people are deeply mysterious... All people!
We are the ones being the passengers here... Nature isn't here to learn from us, nor from its own freedom, behavior, mistakes... We incarnate the vanishing moment...

I like the line "We incarnate the vanishing moment..." because it's mystical, yet practical. I do believe that we have some influence on the direction of nature though.

Definitely landscape! Nothing lets me calm down like shooting landscape. There’s noone going on my nerves. I have time to compose. It can be very minimalistic, I like that a lot. I find myself there. It gives me some kind of inner calmness. Dunno how to say that in English, in German it would be „innere Ruhe“.
