Nick this is a joke right? I constantly set both aperture and shutter on my yashi lynx and fujica st801. It's not cumbersome at all, it's part of the deal. The trick is practice often, shoot often, to a point where it's automatic, then it's not cumbersome anymore.

Both shutter and aperture affects the pictures immensely, and have their purpose.
