Here ya goI'm sure I'd disappoint Keith if I didn't post this
Being a nitpicker, the black reissue S3 is called the Nikon S3 Limited Edition Black, and the chrome reissue S3 is called the Nikon S3 Year 2000 Limited Edition (hence the nickname S3 2000
). The black version was released in 2002.
My vote for the most beautiful camera goes to the Nikon SP Limited Edition (aka SP 2005 after the year it was released).

Beautiful ... just beautiful!

I think all of my cameras are beautiful. They each make a slighty different type of photograph even if you are using the same film, same subject, and the same light...that is what makes them beautiful!
The Anscoset reminds me of John Glenn, the F2 reminds me of James Bond, and the Contaflex is just plain special period...

My cameras. Zeiss Ikon Contina II, my M2 with a 35, my chrome M5 with a Zeiss C Sonnar and its hood. While I loved the M4 it now sits in my mind next to the Aston Martin DB6 - dateable and not quite perfect, especially the advance lever shape, and now, years later, I see why there was shock at the black plastic parts, which seem so appropriate on the M5.

I've only seen a Leica in a glass cabinet. Maybe if I touched one...

(if we can include Super8 cameras) It is the best looking cine-camera, and more than likely to get you into trouble taking it through customs.

I find the R9 (which I don't owe) to be the most beautiful camera. From what I have rolleicord shares the first place with Leica III.

Just like the Canon P, simple and clean design but works perfectly!

Chrome M5. Just love the look and function.
Alpa cameras. Lovely, precision cameras that aren't much fun to actually use.
Nikon F with standard prism. The essence of SLR photography.

The camera that epitomizes the inherent beauty of a camera is a Rolleiflex. Mine was a post-war f/3.5 Tessar variety with the small focus knob. They look so good, because you get twice as glass showing as any other type of camera. And the big screen on the top just adds to the beauty.
People notice photographers with a Rollei in their hands, staring down into the viewfinder, lost in concentration of the sort that is only seen on the faces of those lost in texting today.
Oh yeah.
Here's mine. http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=48632&d=1187529223

The OP is along the lines of how long is a piece of string - but for me, all chrome Leica LTMs have to be amongst the 'winners' but surely even surpassing their beauty and yes even ahead of the 111F/ST has to be the
Reid 3.
Mine is a late model and the slightly smaller size (3B) dimensions coupled with the chamfered film wind on / rewind knobs and the balanced frontal aspect to include the two flash syncs. and the unseen half ball bearing shutter just pips the LTMs to the post, in my opinion.
