D70 For all the reasons already mentioned. Bought a used one for my son a few years ago, liked it so much I bought one for myself. If it would meter with AI lenses It would be perfect for me. But I just use the iphone light meter app and I'm good to go. Great pics.

Still using a Canon 1Ds from early 2003. I love the files from it as long as there's good light. Plus, it's a tank.

i should be receiving my very first digital camera in a few weeks- starting out with the new fuji X-e1 ,the "kit" 18-55 zoom and 35 prime. hope i can make the transition from film smoothly.

Olympus C5050 zoom from late 02 early 03. Magnesium body and tilt LCD like the current OM-D, fast 1.8 zuiko lens, sharp Olympus macro, sees regular use with my light box for classifieds and eBay photos. Became sort of a cult classic because of Magnum's Alex Majoli.

My oldest is an Olympus E-1 manufactured in October 2003. I acquired it in early 2008 ... it was still practically new ... and have put another 12000 exposures on it since then. I haven't used it much lately, but I still love taking it out to use with my longer lenses (Nikkor-H 85/1.8 and Nikon 105/2.8 AF Micro), as well as with Olympus' ZD 35/3.5 Macro.

The E-1 is a special body, one of the best SLRs of all time design-wise, and has stood the test of time. It's old, it's slow, it's only 5mpixel ... but it still makes some of the most beautiful photos I've got. I'll be sad when it stops working as Olympus is discontinuing service on them at the end of the year, according to the rumors I've heard.

A wonderful 6mp Pentax *ist DL2 that I picked up in 06, still going strong and used regularly. We also own an old 3 mp Nikon Coolpix that is probably older than the DL2, my wife still shoots with it on a regular basis.

But both of these still have a ways to go to challenge my Pentax K1000 that I bought used in 1984.

"regularly used" is the critical condition, so my 5-yr old chrome M8u qualifies. I have a Kodak DC-50 from 1996 and a Canon PowerShot G3 but neither is in current use.
The Kodak captured a 0.5Mp image on a 2Mb PCMCIA card, though one could use a Compact Flash card in an adapter. It was $990 new; how things have changed in 17 years! I can no longer read its original image files.
Thinking back, the Kodak was intended to document things in my business, but it sat unused for a couple of years until my wife adopted it. In part, she did use it for the intended purpose for another two years or so, then moved up to one of those swivel-in-the-middle Nikons (which cost about the same!)

My Canon G5 (2003?) still does yeomen's work. I just got rid of my old Nikon D100 (2002) on Craigslist a few months ago, to a photographer who wanted an inexpensive dSLR for his kid. Still working just fine.

my oldest in regular use is the C5050W camedia, despite the 5mp count, it still delivers stunning at base iso.

My mom uses my Leica D-Lux 3 for her interior decorating business. I bought it back in 2006. It still produces phenomenal images. Here is one I snapped with it several years back:

Sorry about not having the image embedded, for some reason my image posting mojo is failing me today

I use an old Sony Mavica that takes 3.5 in floppies. Only for putting stuff on the Bay. Floppies work perfectly on my old slow computer.

My grown kids have plastic fantastic Canon and Nikon cameras that they replace about every new grandkid.

Do I win the prize?

How many images do you get per floppy? I'd love to see some sample images from this.

Olympus C-1400 XL (USA = D620L). They date back to 1998 and I've had two over the years, one extremely dear and one dirt cheap from a charity shop.
