@chrism what is the trick for the surge mark with monobath ?
I use a Rondinax tank so that the film is wound into the developer and continuously rotate the reel. The surge marks are then directed along the length of the film and stay in the unused border. The commercial version of this monobath from New55 is recommended to be used with no agitation at all, but I get stunning surge marks simply by pouring in the solution.
I like the bokeh from this lens. Taken with a Sony a6000.

Do you pour in the developer before winding the film onto the reel?
Not usually, but I do with the monobath, in an effort to ensure that any marks go lengthwise.
