I went and scouted another harbour this evening with the D810. If it doesn't rain tomorrow I'll go back with the F6.

@chrism what is the trick for the surge mark with monobath ?
I use a Rondinax tank so that the film is wound into the developer and continuously rotate the reel. The surge marks are then directed along the length of the film and stay in the unused border. The commercial version of this monobath from New55 is recommended to be used with no agitation at all, but I get stunning surge marks simply by pouring in the solution.

Do you pour in the developer before winding the film onto the reel?

I like the bokeh from this lens. Taken with a Sony a6000.

Even yours show some track of the infamous "swirly bokeh" that is usually the signature of the Helios 40 and 44.

The DOF at f1.4 is strangely wide for a lens of this speed.

Not usually, but I do with the monobath, in an effort to ensure that any marks go lengthwise.
