Leica M5 black 3 lugs
Nikon F Black plain prism
Minolta CLE
CONTAX RTSIII
MAXXUM 9
Right now I am readying them and others because I hope to return to film soon

Canon F1
Canon 11S2
Olympus OM3 --stolen in burglary :-(
Kodak box camera
Nikon F

Okay, that one takes a bit of explaining. What makes a Brownie (did Kodak have other names/lines of box cameras?) one of your favourite cameras?

Why do you prefer a box camera over similar like a folder or TLR?

I am pretty certain that it was the first camera I ever used, and looking through the little viewfinder was magical. The year was 1953 or so. So, yes, a favourite camera and on the list for sentimental reasons!

Top five, unordered:

- Leica IIIb
- Contax T
- Contax S2
- Contax RTS III
- Nikon D3X

I thought that this would be easy, but it's quite the opposite.
1. Leica Monochrom typ 246
2. Leica M6 TTL
3. Ricoh GR1s
4. Nikon F2AS
5. Mamiya MSX 500 (my first 35mm camera)

Rolleiflex Automat
Super Ikonta 531/16
Bessa R2
Elioflex 2
Open - I still have to find my favourite digital or one that works for me.

Not necessarily in order (in 35mm the 901will always reign), of those I own and use.

Fujica ST 901 My all time favorite 35mm camera.
Mamiya Super Press 23
Zeiss Ikon 6x9 folder with Novar lens
Contax 137Q and 167mt (the 137 was destroyed in a fire and I could only afford a Yashica FX103 to replace it. The 167 was a lucky find at a good price, but heavier with its built in motor.)
Olympus XA What a neat little camera and a slightly wide lens too.

Runner Ups

Welta Welti smaller and lighter than its big brother, the RF Weltini
Yashica MAT 124 G which I loved, but I just couldn't bond the same way with the Rolleiflex so it doesn't live here anymore
Yashica FX103 Feature full little camera that is not afraid of Contax lenses.
Mamiya Six a little heavy, but an RF 6x6
Yashica FX 3 Gets used rarely, just to exercise it, but lives in my 167 kit as a backup. If the batteries fail, the shutter speeds are mechanical

EDIT: I just checked and realized I had already answered this in #170 above. Not to far off from that one and the top five here. Maybe I really do like them. :D
